Greetings everyone,
Newly engaged and VERY confused about what to do first! We have looked at receptions sites and churches, but are a little overwhelmed! We are hoping to get married in the summer or fall of 2009, nothing is set in stone for us. Any tips?

Congratulations Mary! We were also overwhelmed with all the choices out there! We made a list of our top 4 or 5 places we would like to hold our ceremony and reception and called them first. We got a list of available dates, then tried to narrow it down from there. It was so difficult working around our families and friends schedules, but after a week of calling everyone we settled on a date, then we made appointments to meet with the church and site that was available on that date.
